About Us

Welcome to 3 Winey Witches!

We're Mag's, Zan, and Jo, three spirited Hispanic women with a shared love for wine and romance novels. Our podcast, 3 Winey Witches, is a delightful blend of banter and entertaining discussions. We were born from the spark of inspiration during a girls' wine night in April 2023.

Our Story

What started as a simple evening of unwinding with good wine and great company quickly turned into a vibrant idea: why not share our hilarious discussions about the books we read with the world? From Contemporary love stories to the Romantasy, and several other romance genres in-between, we dive into the heart of each book, bringing our hilarious perspectives and lively personalities to every episode.

Mags

Hi, I'm Mags, the witchiest witch on the 3 Winey Witches Podcast. When I'm not cohosting, I enjoy watching K-dramas, reading, and spending time with friends and family. I work in IT/data and GIS and am finishing my degree in Software Engineering.

I've been engaged to a gamer and animal lover for almost 7 years. We have 3 chihuahuas, 4 cats, and 2 birds. I love Halloween, the paranormal, coffee, and mugs!

I've been a book lover since childhood, starting with my Golden Book collection to my R.L. Stine addiction. Now, I enjoy Fantasy Romance, Contemporary Romance, Mob Romance, Paranormal Romance, Shifter Romance, Young Adult, New Adult, Cozy, and more. I dream of becoming a published author and having a library like Belle in Beauty and the Beast. — Until next time!

Hi all! I'm Jo - cohost to the 3 Winey Witches podcast and sister to cohost Zan.

I've been a registered dietitian for the last 16 years and working in dialysis for the last

4 years. I've been married to the LOML Arnold for nearly 9 years and we share 2 nuggets who I'm obsessed with and talk about incessantly!

My usual area of interest is true crime (Crime Junkie is my fave podcast!) and I am fairly new to the fantasy romance genre. I've been besties with my cohosts since I can remember and the podcast has only brought us closer. I look forward to many more books to share with our listeners and appreciate all the positive feedback. See you later witches!

Zan

Hi, I'm Zan! I am a co-host on the 3 Winey Witches Pod. I have a background in mental healthcare and training in that setting. I am a recovering overthinker and current enjoyer of hyperfixations such as (obvi) ACOTAR, CC, Star Wars anything, FanArt, AO3, From Blood and Ash, Fourth Wing, and The Serpent & the Wings of Night series.

What I'm reading right now: The tandem read in TOG, The Wolf & the Woodsman, and A Shadow in the Ember (yes at the same time... leave my adult ADD out of this). On any weekend you can either catch me reading with an ACOTAR ambiance video from YouTube playing on my TV (Because immersion is important to me!) while also making TikToks and obsessing over the great cosplayers on there.
